Arcos con Flyback 555 mosfet

This is a good and fairly efficient flyback driver circuit. All parts can be obtained easily from Radio Shack, including the MOSFET. This circuit uses a 555 timer IC to pulse a 2N2222 with square wave at a frequency that is set by the capacitor and the potentiometers. The 2N2222 then drives the gate of the MOSFET and the MOSFET delivers the pulse to the ten turn winding on the flyback. If you build this circuit you will have to adjust the potentiometers until you get the longest arc possible. The circuit will run from +12VDC to +15VDC at about 3A. The MOSFET must be heatsinked! This is important if you are going to run this for any decent amount of time. If the MOSFET still gets too hot or burns up you can place a 4 ohm (for a +12V supply) or a 5 ohm (for a +15V supply) between the source lead of the MOSFET and the primary on the flyback. Make sure that these resistors havethe proper power rating for the voltage and current that they will be carrying. The flyback should be wound with ten turns of 14-16 guage solid wire. Anchor it in with some electrical tape. Any previous primary windind should have already been removed before winding the new one.

SANTIAGO, julio 30.- Precedido por su fama de grupo rupturista e impactante, los alemanes Rammstein traen su imponente espectáculo por primera vez a Chile, en un esperado concierto que se llevará a cabo el jueves 25 de noviembre en el Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida, según confirma la productora The Knife.

El grupo compuesto por Till Lindemann, Richard Kruspe, Oliver Riedel, Paul Landers, Christian Lorenz y Christoph Schneider, se volvió un imperdible dentro de lo que se puede presenciar en directo alrededor del mundo. El tour latinoamericano que los trae al recinto santiaguino viene con su marca registrada en directo: una alucinante pirotecnia y su casi morbosa tendencia al shock visual, sumado a éxitos como “Du hast”, “Amerika” o “Pussy”, uno de sus más recientes destacados.

Rammstein empezó a dejar huella en este mundo desde su fundación en 1994. Su fórmula salió de la fusión del rock, metal y música industrial, con ingredientes de otras corrientes y una retorcida visión sobre el arte que querían entregar. Ellos mismos se han denominado “Tanzmetall” (metal de baile) y se erigieron como puntales de otras bandas de su generación, con la particularidad de cantar todas sus canciones en alemán.

Tras debutar discográficamente en 1995, con sus 8 lanzamientos y 3 DVD’s, han vendido más de 12 millones de copias en el planeta. Han obtenido premios como el Grammy a la “Mejor interpretación de música metal” en 1999 por su éxito “Du Hast”, lo que repitieron el 2006 con “Mein Teil”. Esta vez vienen presentando “Liebe ist für alle da”, su último disco, lanzado el 2009.

En Chile, legiones de fanáticos vienen pidiendo hace tiempo la presencia del grupo, que este 2010 pone fin a la espera.
